To protect clients’ rights and ensure smooth service execution, Happy Land Memorial Park has established the following Refund and Cancellation Policy, applicable to all niche purchases and related services. Please read these terms carefully before signing the contract and making any payment.
Cooling-Off Period & Refund Terms
Happy Land Memorial Park offers a cooling-off period for niche purchases. During this period, customers may request a refund and cancellation.
Late Cancellation Policy
If cancellation occurs after the 30-day cooling-off period, RM500 will be deducted as an administrative fee. The remaining amount will be refunded within 14 working days after verification.
Columbarium Transfer Policy
If a client needs to transfer a niche to a direct relative or another person for special reasons, a written application must be submitted along with an RM300 administrative fee. The transfer will be processed upon approval by Happy Land Memorial Park. Each niche may only be transferred once.
Reservation Period
Pre-purchased niches are reserved for a maximum of 30 years. If the niche is not used for interment within this period, it will be considered forfeited, and any fees paid are non-refundable. Clients may apply for an extension or make alternative arrangements within the reservation period.
Immediate-Use (Post-Death Purchase) Clients
As this service is of an urgent nature, the niche purchase becomes effective upon payment and signed confirmation.Cancellations or refunds are not permitted.
Non-Transferable
Once a niche has been used for interment, it cannot be transferred. If not yet used, transfer requests require special approval from the management, are limited to exceptional cases, and may incur additional fees.
Force Majeure
In the event that the originally reserved niche cannot be used due to force majeure (e.g., fire, flood, or facility damage), Happy Land Memorial Park will provide a niche of equivalent value as a replacement, or assist with relocation and related arrangements as appropriate.
Refund Process
All refund requests must be submitted with a completed refund form, along with valid identification and proof of payment. Once verified, the refund will be processed within 14 working days to the original payment method or a bank account specified in writing by the customer.
Used Services
Once a service has been rendered (e.g., ceremony held, ashes interred, or name inscription completed), it is non-cancellable and non-refundable.
This policy applies to all niches and related additional services and cannot be combined with other promotions orspecial terms unless expressly stated in writing.
