What is Pre-planning?

Pre-Planning, also known as advance arrangements, refers to individuals or families proactively preparing for end-of-life matters before passing.
This may include selecting columbarium niches or ashes placement, planning the form of farewell ceremonies, religious rituals, and personalized arrangements.
The goal is to ensure end-of-life arrangements are well-organized, aligned with personal wishes, and to reduce the emotional, time, and financial burden on family members.

Why Consider
Pre-Planning?

For Yourself, and for Your Family

In life’s journey, death is an inevitable milestone, though its timing is unpredictable.
Through pre-planning, we can clearly express our wishes for farewell ceremonies and resting arrangements, while easing both emotional and financial burdens for our families. When unexpected events occur, families often must make many critical decisions in a short time, which, without guidance, can lead to confusion, misunderstandings, or even conflicts.
Pre-planning serves as a support during these crucial moments—it is not only a responsibility to oneself but also an act of care and consideration for loved ones.
Just as we prepare for the arrival of a new life, arranging the final chapter of life is a quiet yet profound expression of love.

FAQ

What’s the Difference Between Pre-Planning and After-Death Purchase?

The main differences lie in timing, mindset, and cost:

  • Pre-Planning: Allows ample time to choose niches calmly, enjoy more options, and benefit from discounts.

  • After-Death Purchase: Must be completed quickly after a death, with limited choices and fewer discounts, often causing added stress.

Can I choose my preferred columbarium niche?

Yes. Pre-planning clients can have priority in selecting their preferred floor, orientation, religious section, or special layout. Our consultants can also provide advice related to Feng Shui or religious considerations.

If I purchase a niche but don’t use it, can I get a refund?

We have a clear refund and cancellation policy. If the niche is unused and meets the relevant terms, you may apply for a refund or transfer. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details

After purchase, how soon must the niche be used? Is there a time limit?

There is no fixed time limit for pre-planned niches; they will be reserved until used. Clients can schedule the enshrinement date at any time according to the family’s arrangements

Can a pre-planned niche be transferred or gifted to a family member?

Yes. Within our policy terms, a purchased niche can be transferred to a direct family member or a mutually agreed third party.

A transfer application form and relevant identification documents are required

Is there an annual maintenance fee for a pre-planned niche?

Our columbarium packages include only the first year’s maintenance fee.

Any additional fees for upkeep or special services will be clearly stated in the contract.

Can I change the niche or floor after pre-purchase?

If the selected niche has not yet been used, clients may apply to change to another floor or location, subject to availability and any price difference. Early requests are recommended to enjoy more options

What documents should be kept after purchasing a pre-planned niche?

Clients should keep the purchase contract, receipt, niche confirmation, and any copies of transfer or designation forms for future use. We also assist with digital backup and official record keeping
